Today, we want to share a quick update on how you save pages:

• Pages now clear with a slide animation after saving, letting you start fresh immediately. Saved pages are still kept in the upper-left menu for editing further.
• New "Back" button to navigate from saved pages to the default page.
• The app now remembers where you left off without a unique URL for each page. When you refresh or close the tab, you'll return right where you left off.

We also sneaked in another minor update:

• Word and character count now display for selected text.

Our intention is to encourage a workflow where writing from a blank pages is always your default. While you can still save pages, we want to keep things simple by avoiding complex document management features like folders and tags. Instead, Blank Page focuses on what it does best: a clean, distraction-free space for writing your first draft.
